I joined up with KidWorks in the fall of 2005 and began teaching photography as part of the after school art workshops. I encourage my students to photograph things that are familiar and personal. At the least, i want them to see their own lives from a new perspective, one that they can learn to interpret and realize as something unique.
It has always been my dream to have the gradutate students take over my classes... It was a dream that came true! haha! The students are having so much fun teaching at Aziza, they have 10 students and they seem quite excited! Their school starts next month but they are really into teaching at Rudi Boa as well...Oh they are awesome...and I'm so happy for them!
I wish you were there! It was so much fun! The kids were wonderful, they got so excited when they started to draw the circles! How's it going? What've you been up to?
